AEROLIFT attraction is a spherical aerostat with a basket which is able to carry up to 18 people. The whole construction is held by means of strong steel cable from the ground. Vertical movements of the attraction (up and down) are carried out by veering and hauling the cable by the use of an electric winch. The speed of the winch drum is changed smoothly to avoid dynamical overloading in the passenger basket during speeding up and braking. To make embarkation and disembarkation of passengers more convenient, a landing platform is provided. It has a system of blocks which pass the effort in the ground cable through the hole in the centre of the platform to the winch drum. The envelope has a spherical form and is made of strong gas-bearing material by means of welding. It allows using the envelope for 4 to 6 years. The envelope is filled with helium, a safe kind of gas. To provide the aerostat with secured mooring the special system was designed. It contains low-wind mooring that can be used at the wind of up to 15 m/sec (8 ropes and winches) and storm mooring system for up to 30 m/sec wind (24 long ropes and anchors, pneumatic support). 
In order to guarantee safety of the passengers, the attraction is supplied with a signaling system of pressure control in the envelope, the system of mobile gas replenishment, gas and air valves. Being a high-altitude object, the attraction is equipped with navigation lights, which are turned on at night time. The platform is supplied with a system that can stop the winch drum automatically. In case of premeditated damage done to the cable, free flight is possible as there is gas releasing system and emergency ballast. 
The AEROLIFT has been certified under international aviation rules FAR-31. That fact guarantees high quality and safety level. The type certification is issued by IAC (Interstate Aviation Committee). 
The similar attractions are employed in England, France, USA, Brazil, Sweden and others, being popular there. In average during a summer season each aeronautical attraction is attended by 30 to 40 thousand people. Tickets cost $10 to $20. Usually one or two successful seasons pay back all the expenses connecting to purchase and operation of the attraction. The AEROLIFT is made in Russia from domestic and imported materials and parts of high quality. The price of the Russian-made attraction is 30-40% lower than that of foreign analogues.
